Designing for Empathy: What, How, and Why?

Dr. Gokcigdem presented “Designing for Empathy: What, How, and Why?” at a panel titled: “Walk A Mile In My Shoes: Science Centers as Bridges to Empathy and Social Change,” at the Association of Science and Technology Centers (ASTC) Annual Conference in San Jose. Co-presenters included: Orna Cohen, Chief Creative Officer at Dialogue Social Enterprise, Erik Jahner, a Neuroscientist from the University of California – Riverside, and Deborah Cockerham, Dallas Forth Worth Museum of Science and History.
